Day blown out for Hang gliding so ideal for windsurfing. On the water for a good 3 hours. Absolutely mental gusts coming through, some in excess of 35 knots so I got catapulted quite a few times. Was brilliant fun trynna hang on when the gusts came through. I was coming in after 1 tack for a rest and a massive gust came through as I was half way across the lake, it just got stronger and stronger increasing my speed until it was getting out of hand I was fast approching the shoreline so I promptly let go. While I bounced across the water like a water skier falling over, the whole rig took of gaining 3 metres or so in the air and flying downwind a good 15 metres. Brilliant fun but absolutely knackered, arms are coming out of there sockets
